Principal AI/ML Engineering opportunity with a fast-growing Biotech company!
We're looking for a Senior or Principal-level engineer with a background in artificial intelligence, deep learning, and machine learning with a focus on developing and optimizing generative models.
Required experience with AI models relating to bioinformatics, pharmaceutical, or drug development projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and deploy advanced AI models (Generative AI techniques such as GANs, VAEs, and Transformers)
- Implement machine learning pipelines and workflows to support the deployment and maintenance of AI models
- Analyze large datasets to extract meaningful insights and patterns that can inform model development
- Optimize and fine-tune generative models for performance, scalability, and robustness
- Work with data scientists, software engineers, and product managers to integrate AI models into production systems
- Lead projects and mentor junior team members
Qualifications:
- 5 years of industry experience
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Biology, or similar - Artificial Intelligence or Machine Learning
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, TensorFlow, PyTorch, or similar AI/ML frameworks.
- Familiarity with MLOps practices
- Strong understanding of data preprocessing, feature engineering, and model evaluation techniques
- Experience with cloud platforms - AWS, GCP, Azure
- Ability to explain complex AI concepts to non-technical members
