Quality Manager | Energy | Washington DC-Baltimore Area (Hybrid)
We are looking for a skilled Quality Manager to lead and manage quality assurance systems within a dynamic nuclear energy organization. You will ensure compliance with industry standards, foster continuous improvement, and maintain the highest levels of safety and quality across operations.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee and maintain quality management systems (QMS), ensuring regulatory compliance and internal standards.
- Lead and mentor a team of quality professionals, promoting accountability and excellence.
- Conduct audits and inspections to ensure adherence to quality standards and identify improvement areas.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve quality issues and implement corrective actions.
- Update and maintain quality documentation to meet regulatory requirements.
- Drive process improvements to enhance efficiency, safety, and quality across projects.
- Provide training to ensure team knowledge of quality procedures and regulatory standards.
Experience Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, or a related field.
- 5 years of quality management experience in the energy or highly regulated industries.
- Strong knowledge of QMS, regulatory standards, and quality frameworks.
- Proven leadership ability and experience managing quality teams.
- Strong problem-solving skills with experience implementing corrective actions.
- Excellent communication skills for engaging with teams and regulatory bodies.
- Certifications in quality management (e.g., Six Sigma, Lean, ASQ) are a plus.
