About Us:
Lumida, an SEC-Registered Investment Advisor, is seeking an experienced and dynamic Director of Advisory Services to lead our growing advisory team.
This individual will combine leadership expertise with hands-on client management skills to ensure our clients receive exceptional wealth management services. The Director will also play a pivotal role in scaling the team and processes to meet increasing demand.
Our startup and Founder has been highlighted in the WSJ, Bloomberg, Economist and other leading publications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Client Service and Account Management
- Step in to service client accounts during advisor transitions or periods of high demand.
- Support the sales team on high-stakes calls, ensuring smooth transitions from prospect to client.
- Team Recruitment and Development
- Recruit and onboard advisors aged 30–45 with expertise in trust, tax, estate planning, and tax optimization strategies (e.g., 529 plans).
- Mentor advisors to foster professional growth and alignment with Lumida’s standards.
- Training and Workflow Management
- Refine and improve established advisory workflows.
- Train advisors on Lumida’s tech stack, including eMoney for estate planning, and ensure consistent use of internal tools.
- Develop best practices for managing remote teams as Lumida prepares for eventual hybrid operations.
- Leadership and Supervision
- Oversee advisor performance, providing regular feedback and development opportunities.
- Ensure compliance with SEC regulations and fiduciary standards.
- Maintain optimal client-to-advisor ratios while scaling the team to meet demand.
- Process Improvement and Scalability
- Build scalable frameworks for servicing increasing lead volumes.
- Collaborate with leadership to identify opportunities for enhancing efficiency and client satisfaction.
Qualifications:
- 7–10 years in wealth management or financial planning, with at least 3 years managing advisors.
- Expertise in trust, tax, estate planning, and tax optimization strategies.
- Experience managing or preparing for hybrid/remote advisory teams.
Education & Certifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, business, or a related field.
- CFP designation required; additional certifications in estate planning or tax strategies preferred.
Skills:
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to coach and mentor advisors.
- Hands-on client service expertise with the ability to step into advisory roles when needed.
- Proficiency with financial planning tools like eMoney and CRM platforms.
- Ability to refine processes and manage team dynamics in a fast-growing environment.
