Lumifi Cyber is seeking a mid-level Frontend Developer to build and maintain user-facing applications using modern TypeScript, React, and Next.js (both SSR and CSR). In this role, you’ll collaborate closely with design, product, and backend teams to ensure smooth data integration and great user experiences.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain front-end applications using React, Next.js, and TypeScript –
- Implement server-side rendering (SSR) and client-side rendering (CSR) using Next.js for optimized performance.
- Style and layout interfaces
- Collaborate with product teams to design and transform requirements into clean, functional User Interfaces.
- Document features and workflows clearly for internal stakeholders.
- Debug, troubleshoot, and optimize front-end code for performance and usability.
- Write tests using Jest (and related libraries) to ensure high-quality releases.
- Participate in code reviews and team discussions to maintain and improve code standards.
- Stay current on best practices and emerging trends in front-end development.
- 2–3 years of experience with modern JavaScript (ESNext) and TypeScript.
- At least 2 years of experience developing with React (functional components, hooks, contexts).
- Proficiency using Next.js (15 ) for SSR and CSR.
- Hands-on experience with Tailwind CSS (v4) and ShadCN for UI styling is a plus
- Familiarity with React testing libraries (e.g., Jest, react-testing-library, Cypress, Playwright).
- Solid communication skills (written and verbal) and strong problem-solving abilities.
- Comfortable using Git for version control.
- Experience or interest in test-driven development (TDD) best practices.
