Lumina is looking for an Electrician to join our Residential team in Maryland.
The Electrician will play a key role in our solar installation operations, leading the installation and troubleshooting of electrical service equipment, wiring, battery storage systems, and EV chargers for residential solar PV systems. This individual will ensure installations meet quality standards and relevant codes, supervise install teams, and coordinate with electrical inspectors, contributing to our mission of providing clean, sustainable energy solutions.
In this role, you'll get to :
- Lead the installation of electrical service equipment, wiring, and devices required for the installation of residential solar PV systems
- Install electrical components such as; solar modules, inverters, main service panels and other electrical components for residential solar systems
- Install and troubleshoot battery storage systems, electrical upgrades, EV chargers, and tie in solar electrical systems
- Ensure electrical systems meet company standard job specifications, quality requirements, the National Electrical Code, and other relevant local codes
- Act as an on-site supervisor for install teams and provide regular reports of team activities to the project manager
- Assist in job safety and overall crew support including staging materials, general site work support, as well as site preparation and clean up
- Coordinate and communicate with electrical inspectors on projects
- Provide regular updates of job status, complete necessary paperwork and photos
- Correspond professionally with homeowners
- Keep company vehicles well maintained, stocked, and serviced properly
- Perform other related duties as assigned to support overall project success
- Adhere to all of Lumina's company policies and ensure that all safety protocols are followed
