Lumina is looking for a Solar Installer to join our Residential team in Palm, PA. As a Solar Installer on the Residential team, you will play a critical role in our solar operations. Your responsibilities will include installing and commissioning energy systems, resolving equipment issues, ensuring adherence to safety regulations and codes, and maintaining high-quality workmanship. This versatile role is instrumental in enhancing processes and supporting the overall efficiency and effectiveness of our solar installations.
In this role, you'll get to :
- Load and unload materials at the warehouse, ensuring you have all necessary materials for each job
- Load and unload materials at the job site, ensuring all necessary materials are present and organized, while maintaining a clean and orderly work environment
- Install and commission energy systems on roofs, including array layout and mounting hardware, tailored to site conditions and customers' needs and expectations
- Adhere to building standards and codes when installing panels and support structures
- Address and resolve equipment issues and failures onsite efficiently
- Perform routine maintenance on energy systems to ensure optimal performance
- Utilize your knowledge to enhance processes and proactively review the quality of workmanship onsite
- Work closely with team members and communicate job status to management effectively
- Ensure all equipment is properly weather-sealed to maintain system integrity
- Keep company vehicles well-maintained, fully stocked, and properly serviced
- Follow all safety regulations and policies to ensure a safe working environment
- Perform other related duties as assigned to support overall project success
