What You'll Do
The hospice aide is a vital part of the hospice care team. In this position you will provide superior care and excellent service for patients and families by taking care of their personal care needs. The STNA will assist patients with their activities of daily living and support the family. The patient, family and caregivers rely on the hospice aide to meet their care needs and the hospice team relies on the STNA for their valuable input. The right candidate will be compassionate and have a heart for hospice.
JOB REQUIREMENTS & QUALIFICATIONS :
- Maintains active STNA certification in the state performing job duties.
- One year of experience in hospice, home health or Skilled nursing facility preferred.
- Computer skills sufficient to document the care provided.
- Valid driver's license and auto insurance coverage.
