Position Overview:
The primary goal of the Loan Originator Assistant position is to work closely with the loan officer to provide an elevated experience to the customer and referral partners. Maintain a growth mindset help grow the loan officers production and referral base. Everyday working towards building and improving processes.
This is an in office position with the opportunity to work from home one day a week.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Assists loan originator(s) in managing pipeline in a timely and efficient manner, while obtaining working knowledge of company products as well as private and government insured mortgage guidelines
- May schedule appointments with potential customers for the loan originator(s)
- Interacts and interfaces, in a supportcapacity, with all parties involved in each individual loan transaction from application to closing
- Stays abreast of changes in rules and regulationspertaining to private and government insured mortgages.
- Maintains a professional image and adheres to standards consistent with company policies and procedures
- Maintain compliance with local, state, and federal laws, including but not limited to understanding the limitations as an unlicensed loan originator assistant
- Maintaining database (CRM), setting task reminders, following up with clients before, during and after the loan process.
- Help set up, promote and create events
- Open new loan files and work with clients on gathering necessary documents to submit the loan to processing
- Make sure client feels comfortable with the loan process, help ask for other referrals during the process
- Send out Client and Referral partner gifts
- Schedule prospects for preapprovals
- Provide clients with final figures needed for closing
- Follow up on all LE and CDs needed to be signed by borrowers
- Work with realtors on communication during the loan process
- Create and send out marketing materials to realtor and referral partners
- Maintain and update social media marketing
- Attend various realtor sales meetings
- Go to prospective open houses (1-2 days a month) to introduce our services and try to set follow up appts
- Run credit what if simulators and provide to clients and work with to rescore credit
- Request and track VOEs
- Attend weekly Zoom branch sales meeting
Qualifications and Skills:
- Excellent and effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
- An ability to quickly assess and process large amounts of information and must be able to use designated technology
- Must continue to expand knowledge of issues influencing the industry and the organization
- Must be organized and detail-oriented and possess ability to prioritize workload based on loan volume
- Previous experience working in mortgage or banking related field
Education:
- High School Diploma or equivalent

Salary : $23 - $25
