Luminis Health, a progressive health system headquartered in picturesque Annapolis, Maryland, is seeking a Full Time Nurse Practitioner – Community Clinics to provide comprehensive, safe, cost-effective, and patient-centered supervised medical services for patients with emphasis on preventive care, chronic disease management, and acute / same day care.
Responsibilities include :
- Providing education and counseling appropriate to the medical needs of the patient
- Maintaining current licensure and continuing medical education credits as required by Maryland State Law
- Communicating treatment / therapy progress with individuals who have the responsibility or control in patient care intervention
- Referring patients to appropriate licensed physician or other health care provider as condition or circumstances warrant
- Performing duties in accordance with established routine procedures as set forth by the State of Maryland, BPQA (Board of Physicians Quality Assurance), AMA (American Medical Association), HCFA, and AAHS policies
