Physical Therapist - Outpatient
The primary goal of this position is to evaluate patients for physical therapy services and provide therapeutic intervention according to departmental standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate patients to determine the need for physical therapy services.
- Develop effective treatment plans tailored to each patient's rehabilitation needs.
- Use various treatment techniques to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
- Document patient progress, including vital signs and education provided.
- Update treatment plans as necessary to ensure continued progress.
- Supervise Physical Therapist Assistants, Rehab Aides, students, and volunteers.
- Meet departmental productivity standards and participate in continuing education.
Requirements:
- Higher Education Level required for PT Licensure.
- Outpatient rehabilitation or related experience.
- Required License/Certifications: Physical Therapist, American Heart Association Health Care Provider BLS.
Working Conditions:
This role requires exposure to blood-borne pathogens and involves heavy physical demands, including exerting up to 100 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 50 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 20 pounds of force constantly to move objects.
