Overview: As an admission nurse, you'll conduct comprehensive patient assessments, facilitate seamless admission procedures, and deliver compassionate care coordination, ensuring the best support for hospice patients and their families.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinates and oversees all aspects of new patient admissions
- Collaborates with patient care teams to ensure seamless communication
- Educates families on patient condition, needs, and care
- Performs head-to-toe physical assessments
- Timely and accurately completes documentation
- Other duties as assigned
Admission Nurse Requirements:
- Current RN license in the state of MO
- Current driver’s license, reliable transportation, auto insurance
- Current CPR and BCLS certification
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Hospice care: 2 years
Job Type: Full-time; Monday-Friday 10am-7pm
