Position Overview.
We are seeking a highly skilled Lead Electrical Installer to join our team. This position requires expert-level electrical installation skills and a passion for mentoring and developing apprentices. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in residential electrical work, a strong understanding of codes and safety regulations, and the ability to conduct accurate project estimates.
Key Responsibilities.
- Electrical Installations: Lead residential electrical installations, including wiring, lighting, panel upgrades, and system troubleshooting.
- Mentorship: Train and mentor apprentices, providing guidance on best practices, safety protocols, and technical skills.
- Estimates: Conduct thorough project estimates, including labor, materials, and time requirements, to ensure accurate quotes for clients.
- Project Management: Oversee job sites, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
- Compliance: Ensure all work complies with local, state, and national electrical codes and regulations.
- Customer Interaction: Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs, provide solutions, and ensure satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.
- Safety: Promote and enforce safety protocols on job sites to maintain a safe working environment for all team members.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of work performed, materials used, and project progress.
Qualifications:
-High school diploma or equivalent; relevant technical certifications preferred.
- Proven experience as an electrical installer, with a minimum of [5] years in residential projects.
- Master Electrician or Journeyman Electrician license required.
- Strong understanding of electrical systems, codes, and safety regulations.
- Excellent leadership and mentoring skills, with a commitment to developing team members.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
