What are the responsibilities and job description for the Quality Inspector position at Luminous Talent?
We are searching for a 2nd shift Quality Inspector to join an amazing team. This company is focused on the manufacturing of defense equipment. They offer a broad range of manufacturing, assembly, and value-added engineering services for Ships, Ground Vehicles, Aircraft and Soldier Systems.
Responsibilities:
- Inspect parts and equipment using an open plate setup using granite plate.
- Execute existing CMM Programs to include trouble shooting programs to ensure the integrity of the measurements.
- Use alternative measuring methods if necessary.
- Record, analyze inspection results to certify or reject products.
- Maintain paperwork and quality documents.
Qualifications:
- Specific technical or vocational training preferred, but not required.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of inspection and production experience in a manufacturing environment required.
- Experience executing CMM Programs.
- Advanced blueprint reading with GD&T and granite plate measuring skills.
- Working knowledge of ISO work instructions.
