Key Responsibilities:
- Maintenance Operations: Oversee the maintenance, repair, and optimization of manufacturing equipment, including machinery used for steel and aluminum products, to ensure minimal downtime and maximum productivity.
- Team Leadership: Manage, train, and mentor a team of maintenance technicians, fostering a collaborative and safety-focused work environment.
- Preventive Maintenance: Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules to support the plant’s high-output production
- Project Management: Lead maintenance-related projects, including equipment upgrades and installations, to support new programs launching in 2025 and maintain the plant’s competitive edge.
- Safety Compliance: Ensure all maintenance activities adhere to safety regulations, company policies, and industry standards, maintaining a safe working environment for all employees.
- Budget Oversight: Manage maintenance budgets, optimize resource allocation, and identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality or performance.
- Continuous Improvement: Collaborate with production, engineering, and quality teams to identify opportunities for process improvements and equipment reliability enhancements.
- Vendor Coordination: Work with external vendors and suppliers to source parts, manage service contracts, and ensure timely delivery of maintenance-related materials.
- Reporting & Documentation: Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, equipment performance, and downtime metrics, providing regular reports to plant leadership.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 5 years of experience in maintenance management within a manufacturing environment, preferably in automotive or heavy industrial settings.
- Proven leadership skills with experience managing teams in a high-volume production facility.
- Strong knowledge of preventive maintenance systems, industrial equipment, and manufacturing processes.
- Familiarity with steel and aluminum manufacturing processes or automotive component production is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to make decisions in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in maintenance management software (CMMS) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate across departments and with external partners.

Pay: $120,000.00 - $130,000.00 per year
