Job Summary
Recovery Coach is responsible for providing peer support recovery services and will work in a multi-disciplinary team to help to help unhoused individuals that are suffering from substance use and mental health issues. This will include but not limited to: transportation, targeted outreach and engagement to people suffering from co-occurring disorders. The incumbent will be providing peer support recovery services to clients under the supervision of the HEH Director and Medical Doctor. These services include coordination and assistance with the stabilization of medication assisted treatment, prevention services, self-advocacy, development of natural supports, and the development and maintenance of community living skills. They will have a focus on safety for both clients and team members in the encampments they will be visiting.
