Job Summary
The Recovery Specialist will assist registered nurses in activities of daily living by providing comfort measures including active listening, engagement, and positive coaching to New Life Center (NLC) clients. This is a permanent position in a facility that provides 24/7 supervision to the clients. Responsible for serving meals, refreshments, and light housekeeping of the NLC facility. Other responsibilities include transporting clients to and from hospital and other healthcare appointments. A great, friendly attitude, ability to multitask, open communication, accountability, and the ability to follow direction is key. Maintains punctual, regular, and predictable attendance. Must be willing to work 12-hour shifts, rotating weekends, and holidays.
