We are seeking a skilled and motivated Electrical Technician - Conveyor Maintenance with hands-on experience in troubleshooting, maintaining, and repairing conveyor systems and material handling equipment. The ideal candidate will possess strong electrical and mechanical aptitude, with the ability to quickly diagnose system issues and minimize downtime in a fast-paced industrial environment. This position will be located in Savannah Georgia.
Key Responsibilities:
Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair electrical and control issues on conveyor systems and automated material handling equipment.
Perform routine and preventive maintenance to ensure optimal system functionality and minimize unplanned downtime.
Interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals to effectively identify problems and implement solutions.
Install, modify, and upgrade electrical systems, including motors, sensors, PLCs, VFDs, and other control components.
Maintain and document accurate records of maintenance work, repairs, and part usage.
Collaborate with mechanical technicians, engineers, and operations personnel to identify root causes and improve equipment reliability.
Ensure compliance with electrical codes, safety standards, and company policies.
Support commissioning and start-up of new systems and equipment.

Qualifications:
Education & Experience:
Associate degree or technical certification in Electrical Technology or related field (or equivalent experience).
Minimum of 3 years of experience in industrial electrical maintenance, preferably with conveyor and material handling systems.
Skills & Knowledge:
Strong knowledge of industrial electrical systems, including AC/DC motors, PLCs, relays, sensors, and motor controls.
Familiarity with Allen-Bradley, Siemens, or similar control systems is a plus.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
Experience using electrical testing equipment such as multimeters, clamp meters, and oscilloscopes.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Safety-conscious with understanding of OSHA and NFPA70E regulations.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to work in an industrial environment with exposure to moving machinery, noise, dust, and varying temperatures.
Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs, standing, walking, climbing ladders, and working at heights or in confined spaces.
