The Demand Planner plays a crucial role in managing and optimizing the balance between supply and demand. This position involves forecasting demand and collaborating with various departments to meet business objectives and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop accurate demand forecasts using Salesforce inputs and statistical methods
- Conduct market analysis to understand demand drivers and assess forecast results.
- Collaborate with sales, marketing, and operations teams to refine forecasts based on market trends and activities.
- Work closely with supply chain managers to match supply with forecasted demand.
- Identify and resolve supply chain constraints and discrepancies between supply and demand.
- Prepare and present forecast and inventory metrics to management teams.
- Regularly review and improve forecasting techniques, methods, and approaches.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for Salesforce-related queries and issues.
- Provide training and support to end-users to enhance their Salesforce skills.
- Collaborate with Salesforce Administrators and Developers to implement new features and improvements.
- Conduct regular system audits to ensure data integrity and compliance.
- Develop and maintain documentation for Salesforce processes and best practices.
- Assist in the creation and management of reports and dashboards to support business decision-making.
- Stay updated with the latest Salesforce releases and features and recommend relevant updates to the system.
