Position Summary
Coordinates the program's activities, supporting student engagement, and managing grant-related requirements. This position will assist students with LCC policies and procedures and oversee various operational aspects, including recruitment, registration, and workforce development programs.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Coordinate the management and scheduling of classes, transcripts, and attendance for students and WRTC collaborators.
- Develop strategic partnerships with industry stakeholders to enhance student job placement and success.
- Provide executive-level advising for WRTC training certificates and future degree programs.
- Support grant administration, including office management and procurement for WRTC initiatives.
- Assist in processing contractor and instructor contracts.
- Schedule training field sites with public and private landowners.
- Organize and document training materials for all WRTC programs.
- Facilitate student recruitment, admission, enrollment, and retention data collection for grant reporting.
- Contribute to public information/media campaigns and outreach efforts for WRTC.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for WRTC inquiries.
- Promote LCC’s commitment to diversity and inclusion.
- Complete additional duties as required.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with diverse audiences.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Google Suite applications.
- Strong organizational, communication, and writing skills.
- Effective time management and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to understand and implement LCC processes and procedures.
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience in office/program management, budgeting, and organization.
- Preferred experience in Environmental Science, Land Management, or related fields (e.g., Forestry, Natural Resource Management).
- Previous experience in academic administration, personnel management, or project management is preferred.
- Teaching experience is a plus.
