What are the responsibilities and job description for the Network Security Analyst position at Luna Data Solutions, Inc.?
We are looking for a Network Security Analyst II for a long-term contract opportunity in Austin, Texas.
Responsibilities:
- Conducts security assessments and evaluates account permissions, data access requirements, security breaches, and system changes.
- Collaborates with internal teams and external vendors to implement comprehensive computer system security plans.
- Develops strategies to protect computer configurations and data files from unauthorized access, modification, destruction, or disclosure, ensuring compliance with emergency data processing needs.
- Monitors and enforces systems and protocols to safeguard data systems and databases from unauthorized access.
- Investigates and enhances systems and procedures for the prevention, detection, containment, and correction of data security incidents.
- Contributes to the design and deployment of security applications and infrastructure program activities.
- May assist in the development of information technology disaster recovery and business continuity plans.
You:
- 4 years of experience with widely recognized information security management frameworks, including:
- NIST Risk Management Framework (RMF)
- NIST Cybersecurity Framework (CSF)
- Payment Card Industry Data Security Standards (PCI-DSS) is a plus
- Texas Information Security Standards (TX-ISS)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills to convey security assessment findings and recomendations
- CISSP certification is plus
