What are the responsibilities and job description for the Project Delivery Lead position at Luna Data Solutions, Inc.?
We are looking for a Project Delivery Lead for a long-term contract opportunity in Austin, Texas. This is a hybrid work position with 3-5 days a week onsite.
Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for project delivery aspects of applications.
- Communicate effectively with Project Sponsors.
- Identify available resources to complete project assignments on time.
- Recognize potential risks, constraints, and issues that may impact the project, and develop strategies to address them.
- Coordinate with IT Operations and Security teams for any required infrastructure or security assessments.
- Work under limited supervision with considerable latitude for initiative and independent judgment.
- Maintain and utilize detailed industry and internal services knowledge to construct industry-leading service solutions, including expert-level knowledge of processes, technologies, and personnel components involved.
- Act as a “trusted expert advisor” and Subject Matter Expert (SME) for technical services, providing formal advice and presentations to internal and external customers as needed.
You:
- 7 years of familiarity with standard concepts, practices, and the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
- 7 years of involvement working with Product Owners and System/Business Analysts to understand functional and technical requirements, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to design, develop, test, and release features.
- 7 years of demonstrated strength in analytical thinking, problem-solving, team collaboration, and communication.
- 7 years of engagement with the Project Management Life Cycle and Agile Development Life Cycle.
- 7 years of a proven track record in meeting tight deadlines.
- 7 years of practice communicating program objectives, goals, and progress to program directors, executives, upper management, and stakeholders.
- 7 years of hands-on work troubleshooting and supporting computer systems.
- 7 years of delivering systems that meet contract specifications and ensure user satisfaction, using SaaS, COTS, or custom-built solutions.
- Performed other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
