What are the responsibilities and job description for the Senior Business Analyst position at Luna Data Solutions, Inc.?
We are currently seeking the services of a Senior Business Analyst for a long-term contract in Austin, TX. This position can be worked remotely within the Austin Metropolitan area with occasional onsite presence required per client direction. To be considered, you must currently reside within the Austin Metropolitan area.
This role is responsible for detailed product lifecycle planning, leading meetings, managing agile sprints, and closely collaborating with business-line end-users. The individual will play a key role in improving existing operational application products while introducing new solutions across the organization.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS :
- 8 years of experience in Technical Communication – Skilled in planning, scheduling, and facilitating engaging meetings, activities, and brainstorming sessions with stakeholders. Capable of communicating technical requirements to IT personnel and providing guidance and support to end users during and after implementation.
- 8 years of experience in Writing and Documentation – Proficient in documenting stakeholder requirements, creating user guides, documenting systems and processes, and developing standard operating procedures.
- 8 years of experience in Continuous Improvement – Demonstrated ability to identify gaps or issues in existing processes and systems, test and validate solutions, and provide organizational change management support.
- 8 years of experience in Leadership – Proven leadership in guiding technical teams to design and implement solutions, liaising between business units and IT leadership, and working with cross-functional teams that include business stakeholders, IT teams, vendors, and contractors.
- 8 years of experience in Data Analysis – Skilled in building and generating reports, analyzing system performance, and identifying areas for improvement. Ability to assess processes and procedures to drive efficiency gains.
