We are looking for a Software QA Analyst for a long-term contract opportunity in Austin, Texas.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborates with project development teams to analyze user requirements, design documents, and related materials to develop detailed and effective test cases.
- Creates and executes both manual and automated functional and regression test cases, thoroughly documenting issues, executed tests, test results, and comprehensive testing summaries.
- Performs manual testing and data validation to ensure system functionality meets specified requirements.
- Executes SQL queries to analyze, validate, and manipulate data for testing purposes.
- Partners with development teams and stakeholders to gain a clear understanding of the functionality under test, define and implement test automation, and communicate findings and updates effectively.
- Conducts performance and accessibility testing to ensure applications meet performance benchmarks and are usable by all users, including those with disabilities.
You
- 7 years of expertise in Testing complex Web Applications
- 7 years of background in Testing all phases of Software Development Life Cycle
- 3 years of proficiency in Database/SQL Language
- 3 years of hands-on experience in Creating Automation test cases
- 2 years of familiarity with API, JSON, XML
- Strong background in test automation using open source technologies and/or in-house frameworks
- Skilled in working with test frameworks such as TestNG, JUnit, and BDD
- Proficient in API testing, including both SOAP and REST
- Familiar with performance testing tools like WAPT Pro, JMeter, or similar
- Experience in testing .NET applications
- Hands-on knowledge of Power BI testing workflows
- Comfortable working with Zephyr Scale for test management
- Well-versed in using JIRA for project tracking and collaboration
