Position Overview:
As a Hospice Aide at Luna Del Valle Hospice, you will play a vital role in providing compassionate care and support to our patients during their end-of-life journey. Your responsibilities will include assisting with activities of daily living, providing emotional support, and ensuring the comfort and well-being of our patients. We are looking for candidates with CNA certification and previous experience in hospice or palliative care.
As a Hospice Aide at Luna Del Valle Hospice, you will play a vital role in providing compassionate care and support to our patients during their end-of-life journey. Your responsibilities will include assisting with activities of daily living, providing emotional support, and ensuring the comfort and well-being of our patients. We are looking for candidates with CNA certification and previous experience in hospice or palliative care.
Responsibilities:
- Provide personal care assistance to patients, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Assist with mobility, transfers, and positioning to ensure patient comfort and safety.
- Offer emotional support and companionship to patients and their families.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Maintain accurate documentation of care provided and any changes in patient condition.
Qualifications:
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification required.
- Previous experience in hospice or palliative care preferred.
- Compassionate and empathetic attitude towards patients and families.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
