Key Responsibilities:
Provide direct nursing care under the supervision of an RN in a palliative care setting.
- Assist in pain and symptom management to enhance patient comfort.
- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team, including physicians, social workers, and chaplains.
- Educate patients and families on care plans and disease processes.
- Monitor and report changes in patient conditions.
- Ensure compliance with all healthcare regulations and best practices.
- Active LPN license in NM.
Experience in palliative care, hospice, home health, or related field preferred. - Strong clinical skills with a compassionate approach to patient care.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Ability to provide emotional support to patients and their families.
