Responsibilities:
ensures smooth operations by coordinating and managing schedules for nursing staff, residents, and other healthcare professionals, focusing on efficient staffing, resident care needs, and compliance with regulations.
Safe Transportation:Transport residents to and from medical appointments, therapy sessions, and other activities, both within the facility and to off-site locations.
Resident Assistance:
Assist residents in and out of vehicles, wheelchairs, and other mobility devices, ensuring their safety and comfort.
Vehicle Maintenance:
Maintain the cleanliness and functionality of the facility's transportation vehicles, including routine checks and reporting any issues.
Documentation:
Maintain accurate records of transportation routes, times, and any incidents or issues encountered during transport.
Communication:
Communicate effectively with residents, families, and facility staff regarding transportation arrangements and any concerns.
Safety Procedures:
Adhere to all applicable safety regulations and facility policies regarding transportation, including proper use of seatbelts, wheelchair restraints, and other safety equipment.
Problem Solving:
Address any issues or concerns that arise during transportation, such as resident discomfort or vehicle malfunctions, and take appropriate action.
