Job Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior IT Administrator to join our IT team. The ideal candidate will assist in managing and maintaining our IT infrastructure, providing technical support, and ensuring the smooth operation of all IT-related systems within the company.
Key Responsibilities:
· Assist in the installation, configuration, and maintenance of hardware, software, and networks.
· Provide first-line technical support for employees, troubleshooting hardware and software issues.
· Monitor system performance and IT infrastructure to ensure smooth and secure operation.
· Assist in maintaining IT documentation, including network diagrams, system configurations, and user guides.
· Support the administration of user accounts, permissions, and access controls.
· Help manage and maintain data backups, security protocols, and disaster recovery procedures.
· Install updates and patches for software and operating systems as needed.
· Coordinate with third-party vendors for IT-related services and support.
· Participate in IT projects and initiatives to improve company systems and efficiency.
· Maintain awareness of emerging technologies and best practices in IT administration.
Required Qualifications & Skills:
· Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
· Basic understanding of IT systems, networking, and troubleshooting methodologies.
· Familiarity with Windows and/or Linux operating systems.
· Knowledge of Active Directory, Office 365, Avaya IP Office and Mobile Device Managers (MDM) is a plus.
· Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
· Excellent communication and customer service skills.
· Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies.
· Certifications such as CompTIA A , Network , or Microsoft certifications are a plus.

Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week
