Job description – Service Tech
- Installing, repairing, and maintaining propane appliances and providing service to our residential, commercial, and industrial customers.
- Perform repairs and adjustments on propane equipment.
- Drive a flatbed boom truck for delivering and installing propane (LP-Gas) tanks.
- Install and pressure test gas service lines to make sure the system passes all state and local installation/permit requirements.
- Inspect vehicle daily and report any problems in accordance with company policy and DOT regulations.
- Prepare and maintain records in accordance with regulations and company procedures.
- During daily interaction with customers, provides exceptional customer service by supplying service/safety information and answering inquiries.
Job requirements:
- Class B or higher Commercial Drivers License (CDL) containing Hazmat, Tank, and Air Break Endorsements and DOT Medical Card a plus.
- Ability to pass pre-employment DOT Physical, Drug Test, and Homeland Security Background Check.
- Good interpersonal skills and willingness to take direction from the Manager.
- 90 Day Probation Period
- Propane Installation experience necessary
Schedule:
- Monday through Friday
- Weekend on call rotations
