Associate Wealth Advisor

Position Summary

An Associate Wealth Advisor will support Lund Wealth Management in the preparation, presentation, and implementation of financial recommendations and plans for clients and prospects of the firm. Duties will include managing Salesforce data and financial planning software. This includes gathering and inputting financial information from clients into the software and preparation of presentations and reports. Associate Wealth Advisor will develop the skills and experience to work with existing clients in providing advisory services.

Essential Job Functions

  • Work with Wealth Advisors to gain an understanding of our client's background and objectives
  • Input client information into various web-based software (financial planning, tax planning, Social Security planning)
  • Input prospect and client information into investment analysis software to assist with investment recommendations
  • Update financial plans, as necessary, to maintain reliable and current information
  • Interact and engage with operations staff to ensure all client requests are completed.
  • Provide operational backup when needed with ability to process account paperwork and money movement.
  • Create and modify PowerPoint presentations to highlight financial plan data for client meetings
  • Attend client meetings and draft financial plan summary letter to client as needed
  • Assist with Tax Loss Harvesting, RMD tracking and processing.
  • Assist advisors with keeping client reviews current
  • Review and modify systems to enhance the financial planning experience
  • Act as Salesforce liaison with Advisors and Client Service Associates to develop and run necessary reports to ensure client data is accurate and up to date
  • Provide information / education to clients about the purpose and details of financial products, services, and strategies.
  • Promote established investment models and strategies that are suitable for our targeted clients
  • Coordinate all money movement, strategy changes and paperwork for existing clients and prospects with the operations team as necessary.
  • Adhere to all company and industry supervisory guidelines and policies
  • Participate in daily morning advisor meetings, training, and continuing education requirements.
  • Provide positive and professional service to the assigned client base.
  • Handle all communication with the client base including phone calls, emails and meetings.
  • Review investment products currently held in clients’ accounts, both advisory and brokerage, and reallocate to the appropriate model to help clients meet their financial objectives.
  • Maintain all continuing education requirements of a wealth advisor plus required training elements.
  • Attend firm client events.

  • Financial Planning Software and Salesforce experience preferred

  • Ability to work independently and as a team member
  • Preferred Education and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree required
  • Willingness to achieve CFP® certification
  • Minimum of 1 years’ experience in the brokerage, insurance, or financial industry
  • Clean U-4 and U-5 history
