Lund seeks a Family Visitation Coach to join our Kids-A-Part Parenting Program (KAPPP) team. This is a part-time role, 12 hours per week, based out of the KAPPP space at the Chittenden Regional Correctional Facility (CRCF). The Coach fosters healthy parent-child relationships, minimizes trauma, and helps families navigate challenging circumstances with care and dignity.
Our Family Visitation Coach provides direct support by facilitating and supervising scheduled parent-child interactions, both virtually and in person. This includes coordinating video and in-person group visits at CRCF while promoting healthy attachment and bonding between parents and children. They will also collaborate closely with the KAPPP team to align with individual Family Service Plans and ensure timely and accurate documentation.
This is a grant-funded position with anticipation of renewal beyond the initial one-year term.
Research shows that individuals from marginalized groups—such as BIPOC, LGBTQ , women, people with disabilities, and those from working-class backgrounds—often hesitate to apply for jobs unless they can see themselves meeting and performing every responsibility and requirement. However, many skills can be learned on the job. If you can see yourself adding value to the role, our clients, staff, and guests and meeting most of the responsibilities and qualifications, we encourage you to apply!
