Key Responsibilities
- Lead FP&A Function: Enhance financial processes, deliverables, and key initiatives to support business objectives.
- Budgeting and Forecasting: Coordinate the company’s annual operating plan (AOP) and mid-year forecasting processes. Support long range financial planning and modeling. Summarize results for leadership and the board monthly and as needed.
- Financial Analysis: Develop and present monthly financial performance results, highlighting trends and recommending improvements.
- Cost Management: Complete annual standard cost update for all products and processes and provide COGS analysis to support monthly Operations reviews as well as the annual financial audit.
- Collaborative Decision Support: Partner with Sales, Marketing, Operations, and other teams to develop accurate projections, monitor performance, and drive strategic decisions as well as assist on ad-hoc business questions and initiatives.
- Team Leadership: Manage, coach and develop the FP&A team, including the Plant Controller, two managers and two financial analysts. Foster a customer service-focused approach within the team.
- Cross-Functional Influence: Act as a trusted leader across the organization, driving initiatives aligned with company goals and providing strategic financial guidance.
- Continuous Improvement: Streamline file and document organization, enhance team capabilities, and identify opportunities for growth within the team.
- Advanced Excel power user and proficiency in ERP systems, MS Power Point and Power BI.
- Ability to summarize data effectively, including simplifying complex issues, and communicate insights to senior management in both written and verbal presentations.
- Good accounting knowledge, expertise in product sales structures and exposure to manufacturing and inventory management in a standard cost environment.
- Preferred: CPA, CMA, or MBA, and experience in consumer-packaged goods companies.
Salary : $175,000 - $220,000
