Lundberg is seeking a detail-oriented Financial Analyst to support reporting, forecasting, planning, and variance analysis for General & Administrative (G&A) departmental expenses. This role will also provide financial support for Agriculture teams, working capital management, and various ad hoc, ongoing, or special projects, including financial reporting and analysis as needed.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze budget vs. actual performance for Sales & Marketing, Corporate G&A, and other expenses.
- Support variance analyses for monthly, quarterly, and year-to-date financial performance.
- Partner with Accounting to assist in monthly expense accrual preparation.
- Conduct reporting and analysis on working capital and key balance sheet items.
- Assist in financial data analysis for monthly reviews, audits, budgets, and regulatory submissions.
- Provide ad hoc reporting and analysis on expenses and P&L-related items.
- Streamline and automate manual or ad hoc financial reporting processes.
- Support working capital management analysis and related financial reporting.
- Provide financial support to Agriculture & Farm teams for budgeting and forecasting.
- Assist in financial planning and analysis for farm operations and agricultural activities.
- Contribute to the Annual Crop Booking process with financial insights.
- Support overall financial modeling, data reporting, and key finance deliverables.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field.
- 2 or more years of financial planning and analysis (FP&A), financial analysis (banking, consulting, or investments), or accounting experience.
- Experience in an Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) environment (Oracle, SAP, Microsoft Dynamics NAV/360/Business Central etc.).
- Ability to interpret and understand the components of an Income Statement.
- Advanced-level knowledge of Microsoft Excel, including the ability to work with complex tables and look-ups; strong knowledge of Microsoft Word and PowerPoint.
- Analytical and problem-solving skills and willingness to “go deep” on subject matter and financial data and data files.
- Continuous improvement and automation mindset.
Preferred
- Retail, Fast-Moving Consumer Goods, Agriculture, or Farming Finance experience.
- Experience with data analysis tools such as Power BI and Tableau.
- Experience building financial models and developing forecasts.
