Assist with Water Treatment Plant operations by performing solids process material handling and general plant safe access maintenance. Performs routine operational maintenance and custodial tasks on equipment, buildings and grounds. Main Responsibilities | Activities
  • Filter press, clarification and salt solids handling
  • Safe material unloading and storing
  • Assist with inventory management
  • participate in routine, preventive or corrective maintenance
  • Collect and analyze samples of water or waste at different stages of the treatment process
  • Record daily entries in log sheets, log book and/or computer
  • Operate mobile equipment as needed upon proper training
  • Enter Maintenance Work Orders as needed
  • Participate in routine custodial duties as needed for building and grounds maintenance
  • Perform other duties as assigned Education, Qualifications and Experience
  • A high school education or equivalent is required
  • Experience using Microsoft Office Suite required
  • Valid US driver’s license required

  • Only use equipment you are trained to use and operate the equipment in a way that is safe, protects the environment and doesn’t cause undue community impacts.
  • Participate in HSEC training provided to them
  • Report all incidents; including but not limited to injuries, near miss, community interactions and impacts, environmental impacts, spills, unsafe work practices, etc.
