Lune Spark Center for Creativity runs vibrant and innovative youth camps (trackout & summer camps) dedicated to nurturing young talents in various artistic disciplines. We are looking for a passionate and creative Youth Camp Art Teacher to join our summer camp team and inspire young artists in exploring their creativity and honing their artistic skills. At Lune Spark, we maintain a healthy teacher/students ratio in our camps to ensure quality of our service.

We are looking for teachers in these areas - the candidate should have teaching skills in at least two of these areas: Drawing, Painting, Art & Craft, Acting, Voice, Clay Modeling, Digital Art, 2D Animation, Acting, Movie Making, etc

Working hours: Multiple Options

Mon-Fri: 7:45 AM – 5 PM

Mon-Fri: 7:45 AM – 12:30 PM

Mon-Fri: 12:30 PM – 5 PM

Ideal Candidate:

As a Youth Camp Art Teacher, you will play a crucial role in fostering creativity and artistic expression in campers aged 6-12 years. You will run engaging art sessions and workshops, encouraging campers to experiment with different mediums, techniques, and styles. Your goal is to create a supportive and inspiring environment where campers can develop their artistic abilities while having fun.

Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver age-appropriate art lessons and activities.
• Create a safe and inclusive classroom atmosphere that encourages creativity and self-expression.
• Teach fundamental art principles, in at least two of these areas: Drawing, Painting, Art & Craft, Acting, Voice, Clay Modeling, Digital Art, 2D Animation, Acting, Movie Making
• Assist campers in exploring various art forms and techniques.
• Provide constructive feedback and guidance to help campers improve their skills.
• Collaborate with film-making camp staff to integrate art into the overall camp experience.
• Ensure the safety and well-being of campers at all times.
• Maintain a clean and organized space.
• Encourage campers to showcase their work and participate in camp-wide events.
• Be a positive role model and mentor for campers, promoting a love for art and creativity.

Qualifications:

• College students, or professionals with a strong background
• Previous experience working with children or adolescents in an educational or camp setting.
• Passion for teaching and inspiring young artists.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Patience, creativity, and adaptability.
• CPR and First Aid certification (preferred).
• Front Desk experience (optional but will be a plus)

Compensation: $15 per hour
