Social Media Coordinator
Part-Time | Up to 32 hours/week

Position Summary
The Social Media Coordinator plays a key role on Luno’s Marketing team, supporting the creation and publishing of platform-specific content, community engagement, and execution of brand campaigns. This is a dynamic, fast-paced, and highly creative role for someone who thrives in the ever-evolving world of social media and is eager to help build an iconic outdoor brand.
Key Responsibilities
SOCIAL MEDIA MANAGEMENT (60%)
- Curate, schedule, and post content across Luno’s social media platforms: Instagram, TikTok, Pinterest, Facebook, and YouTube.
- Create visually compelling carousels, Pinterest pin batches, and short-form videos (Reels, Shorts, TikToks).
- Maintain and protect Luno’s unique brand aesthetic and voice across all content.
- Monitor and respond to social comments, DMs, and messages.
- Identify trends and opportunities for growth and optimization across platforms.
- Flag creator collaborations and partnership inquiries to the Social Media Manager.
- Collaborate closely with the Social Media Manager and Marketing team to support brand campaigns and initiatives.
CONTENT CREATION SUPPORT (40%)
- Assist with on-site content capture sessions (photo/video), including outdoor shoots and team campaigns.
- Edit short-form video content for organic social and paid advertising.
- Serve as a junior editor on larger video projects and brand storytelling content.
ROLE EXPECTATIONS
- Up to 32 hours per week with a flexible schedule
- Occasional weekend or travel availability may be required for content shoots
- Must be located in or willing to travel to Bend, OR periodically for in-person content sessions.
- Be proactive, flexible, and collaborative—this is a roll-up-your-sleeves, startup-minded role.

Skills, Experience & Qualifications
REQUIRED
- 2 years of experience managing or supporting social media for a brand or organization.
- Strong grasp of platform-specific content strategies (Instagram, TikTok, Pinterest, YouTube Shorts).
- Proficiency in tools like Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, CapCut, or similar editing platforms.
- Experience in capturing and editing both photo and video content.
- Comfortable working behind and in front of a camera and/or smartphone to capture high-quality visuals.
- Excellent time management and organization skills—can juggle multiple projects with precision.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, especially in fast-paced or remote settings.
NICE TO HAVE
- Experience with tools like Loomly, Artlist, Capcut, or other programs.
- Familiarity with analytics, reporting, and basic performance tracking.
- Knowledge of or experience in the outdoor gear or e-commerce space.
