Jim Lupient INFINITI of Golden Valley is looking for a motivated Sales Manager to lead our sales team! This role is primarily responsible for customer retention and profitability in the new- and used-vehicle profit centers through effective personnel management, knowledge of market potential, established performance standards, and a sharp awareness of each department’s break-even data. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in pre-owned vehicle acquisition. This position will also back up the F&I Manager a demonstrated success in F&I is preferred.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Ensures that sales managers (new and used) understand dealership policies, procedures, and sales systems
- Participates in the preparation of annual dealership forecasts by projecting unit sales, gross profits, expenses, and operating profits for the Sales departments
- Partners with General Manager to establish annual and monthly objectives
- Works with dealer and General Manager to determine appropriate days’ supply for new and used vehicles and orders / acquires vehicle inventory accordingly
- Establishes standards for displaying, merchandising, and maintaining new and used vehicles
- Establishes procedures for quick disposal of over-aged vehicles
- Audits all appraisals of trade-in vehicles
- Reviews and initials all deals before they are posted
- Works with Finance Department to increase and maintain product penetration levels and Income PVR
- Address customer complaints to ensure high level of customer satisfaction
- Makes sure the facility is secure, well lit, and professional in appearance
- Presents an overall professional and positive image of our retail team
