Responsibilities
The Pricing & Contracts Analyst/Manager, Injectables will be the main internal support for the Institutional Sales Team. They will review pricing and contract related information, prepare analyses and provide support for adhering to pricing policies, rebate programs, and contractual terms for all IDNs, GPOs, and other established and prospective accounts. In addition, they will assist the institutional sales team with customer calls, volume adherence management, and inline growth identification. This position will maintain sales and contractual data as well as developing key critical reports and dashboards to manage performance regarding Injectable pricing and sales. The responsibility of the preparation of competitive bids and creation of responses to ROFRs and RFPs will also fall within scope.
Essential Functions
- Main internal support for Institutional sales team as it relates to sales reporting, pricing requests, preparation of customer offer letters, and internal notifications
- Creates revenue/margin analysis for product addition opportunities as well as meet the competition (MTC) requests for all Lupin injectable products – both current and pipeline/new launch
- Prepare pricing scenarios utilizing established models for the purposes of developing and analyzing account proposals
- Develops and maintains various reports; quarterly reports, monthly price/sales tracker, compliance tracker, outstanding offer tracker, new launch grids, etc.
- Develop specific account knowledge and understanding of contractual terms and actual performance for all Institutional customers
- Knowledge and understanding of departmental data, business metrics and operational processes
- Assist sales team in creation and maintenance of quotes/opportunities in Vistex Bid Management
- Assist in the development of standard business review templates as well as ad-hoc requests
- Prepares necessary sales reports and presentations for customer meetings, hospital / doctor’s office calls, and industry tradeshows for Lupin field reps and the Director of US Injectable Sales
- Analyze contracted product performance and communicate account performance/compliance to awarded/forecasted expectations
- Work with the Legal Department to review and redline customer agreements (for both established and prospective accounts)
- Complete ad-hoc analyses and projects as requested
- Ensure all bids/offers to Customers, including terms and conditions, contract awards, and procedures to ensure internal notifications are received by appropriate personnel
- Extract data from various databases using Business Intelligence tools and manipulate data to create meaningful insights for use in decision making
- Assists in meeting preparation as it relates to Sales data and Customer opportunities
Qualifications
Qualifications - Skills & Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in related field (Business, Economics)
- Previous experience in pharmaceutical pricing and contract role is highly beneficial
- Advanced computer skills using MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Visio/ Power Point)
- Prior experience with SAP, Vistex and Tableau would be preferred
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Ability to prepare, analyze and interpret general reports
- Strong communication both oral and written
- Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, sales force, and customers

Physical Requirements
The physical requirements of the position generally include: standing, walking, sitting, using hands and fingers, reaching with hands and arms, talking and hearing. In some circumstances, bending, kneeling, crouching, stooping, and crawling may apply. This position may require lifting up to 15 pounds occasionally. Generally work is performed in an office environment.
