What are the responsibilities and job description for the Receptionist position at Lupton Law?
Lupton Law is seeking a Receptionist fluent in Spanish to be part of our West Chester, PA team!
Duties would include, but are not limited to:
- Communicating with clients and either providing answers to non-legal questions or forwarding those questions to the appropriate attorney;
- Calling clients to confirm appointments and taking client calls;
- Scheduling clients for consultations, case review or case follow up;
- Providing detailed notes from client interactions on our case management system;
- Coordinating with other staff regarding client meetings, consultations, and community outreach;
In addition, this job will include different (voluntary) opportunities to learn about the immigration laws and systems in the United States, including:
- Visits to detention facilities to confer with immigration clients or prospects;
- Visits to Immigration Court, where you will better learn the needs of each individual Immigration Judge and better understand the stresses and problems faced by immigrants in theImmigration Court system; and
- Attendance at USCIS interviews for clients who will be interviewed for asylum, residency, or naturalization in the United States.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $13.00 - $17.00 per hour
