Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced IT Project Manager with expertise in Microsoft Dynamics to lead the planning, execution, and successful delivery of Dynamics-related projects. The ideal candidate will manage end-to-end project lifecycles, coordinate cross-functional teams, and ensure that business requirements are met through the effective implementation and integration of Microsoft Dynamics solutions. This role requires strong leadership, excellent communication skills, and a proven track record of managing complex IT projects.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Planning and Execution:
- Develop detailed project plans, timelines, and resource allocations for Microsoft Dynamics implementations and upgrades.
- Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables that align with business goals.
- Monitor and track project progress, ensuring milestones are met and risks are mitigated.
Team Leadership and Collaboration:
- Lead cross-functional teams including IT, business analysts, developers, and end-users.
- Facilitate regular project meetings, providing updates and ensuring clear communication among stakeholders.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for all project-related matters.
Stakeholder Management:
- Collaborate with business leaders and end-users to gather and refine requirements.
- Manage expectations and deliver regular status reports to executive leadership.
- Engage external vendors and consultants as needed to support project deliverables.
Technical Oversight:
- Oversee the configuration, customization, and integration of Microsoft Dynamics modules (e.g., Finance, Supply Chain, Sales, Customer Service).
- Ensure that system enhancements and integrations align with best practices and organizational standards.
- Work closely with IT security teams to ensure compliance and data protection within Dynamics implementations.
Risk and Change Management:
- Identify, document, and proactively address project risks and issues.
- Implement change management processes to minimize disruption and maximize user adoption.
- Develop contingency plans to ensure continuous project momentum in the face of challenges.
Budget and Resource Management:
- Develop and manage project budgets, ensuring efficient use of resources.
- Track expenditures and adjust forecasts as needed throughout the project lifecycle.
- Negotiate with vendors and service providers to secure optimal terms.
Qualifications:
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field. Master’s degree or MBA is a plus.
Experience:
- 5 years of project management experience in IT, with a significant focus on ERP systems and Microsoft Dynamics.
- Proven track record managing end-to-end Dynamics implementations or upgrades.
- Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with multiple concurrent projects.
Certifications:
- Project Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent.
- Microsoft Dynamics certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Dynamics 365 Fundamentals, Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations) are highly desirable.
Technical Skills:
- Strong understanding of Microsoft Dynamics architecture, modules, and integration points.
