Job Title: SAP MDG Consultant
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced SAP MDG Consultant to design, implement, and support SAP Master Data Governance (MDG) solutions. The ideal candidate will have expertise in MDG Data Modeling, UI Customization, Workflows, BRF , and Integration with SAP and non-SAP systems. You will work closely with business and IT teams to ensure high-quality master data management and governance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement SAP MDG solutions for Master Data Domains (Material, Business Partner, Finance, RFM).
- Perform data modeling, UI customization, rule-based workflows, DRF, and HANA-based search configuration.
- Integrate SAP MDG with external systems using IDOCs, SOA Web Services, REST APIs, and SAP CPI.
- Conduct requirement gathering, impact analysis, and solution design for data governance initiatives.
- Ensure data quality, cleansing, and validation through automation and business rules.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define data governance policies, processes, and best practices.
- Perform unit testing, integration testing, and user training for MDG solutions.
- Support data migration, rollouts, and enhancements in SAP MDG.
- Work in Agile/Waterfall methodologies to deliver high-quality projects on time.
Required Skills & Experience:
- 5 years of experience in SAP MDG implementation and support.
- Strong knowledge of MDG Framework, Data Models (MDG-M, MDG-BP, MDG-F, RFM by Utopia).
- Hands-on experience in UI Customization, FPM, Rule-Based Workflows, BRF , DRF, and Search.
- Expertise in data replication, integration (IDOCs, APIs, SOA, CPI), and process automation.
- Experience in S/4HANA MDG implementations is a plus.
- Familiarity with ABAP enhancements, BADIs, and CDS Views for MDG customization.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
- Experience in leading and coordinating project streams.
- SAP MDG certification is a plus.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in MDG consolidation, central governance, and process modeling.
- Knowledge of MDG Change Request Management and SAP Information Steward.
- Experience working in industries such as Retail, Manufacturing, Transportation, and Finance.
