What are the responsibilities and job description for the Relationship Manager position at Luqra?
The ideal candidate will be responsible for gaining a deep understanding of the clients' business objectives and challenges and guiding them to success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and grow relationships with Card Present and Card No Present merchants across various industries.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for merchant inquiries, support, and account strategy.
- Collaborate with internal sales, onboarding, and support teams to ensure a seamless client experience.
- Identify opportunities to upsell or cross-sell payment solutions, value-added services, and technology upgrades.
- Monitor merchant performance and proactively address any issues or opportunities for optimization.
- Support channel partners and collaborate with external agents and resellers to ensure alignment on merchant growth strategies.
- Maintain accurate CRM records and generate periodic reports on merchant activity and satisfaction.
Qualifications
1–3 years of experience in payments, fintech, or merchant services.
Proven ability to manage multiple sales channels (direct, referral, ISOs, partners, etc.).
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a client-first mindset.
Familiarity with payment processing platforms, POS systems, and merchant account operations.
Highly organized, self-motivated, and results-oriented.
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or a related field preferred.
