Job Description:
- * Hands-on supporting role to the Executive Chef in day-to-day operations
- * Managing and maintaining inventory
- * Ensuring work product complies with standard operating procedures
- * Maintaining present recipes and presentations
- * Training team members to assist with production
- *Banquets and Catering from planning and prep to execution.
Job Requirements:
- * Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar position
- * Passion for building a strong team
- * High volume restaurant and catering experience
- * Organizational skills
- * Willing to learn and adapt to new procedures
- * Strong knife Skills
- * Strong Communication Skills in Both Spanish and English
- * Sanitation Manager Certification
- * Has an influential philosophy of leadership and management presence based on mutual respect an organization coupled with strong business acumen.
- * The ability to maintain a calm demeanor under pressure while understanding
- the principles of People, Product, and Process.
- * Produce accurate recipes and photo specifications for new dishes implemented on menus.
- * Take ownership of kitchen cleanliness at all times.
- * Take ownership for correct portion control so that wastage is kept to a minimum and to ensure that correct stock rotation is evident within the kitchen.
- * Must have a flexible schedule and be available to work nights and weekends
- * Must be able to work 50hrs/week
- * Must be able to work mornings and weekends as needed
