Greeting Guests: Provide a warm and friendly welcome to guests as they arrive. Maintain a professional and courteous demeanor at all times. Ensure guests feel valued and appreciated from the moment they enter the restaurant.
Seating Guests: Escort guests to their tables, provide menus, and inform them of any specials or promotions. Pay attention to the seating preferences of guests and accommodate them to the best of the restaurant's ability.
Rotation Management: Manage the seating rotation effectively to ensure that all servers receive an equal number of tables.
Wait Time Management: Accurately estimate and communicate wait times to guests during busy periods. Manage a waitlist efficiently, ensuring guests are seated in the order they arrived.
Additional Duties: Perform additional tasks as assigned by the restaurant management, which may include answering phones, maintaining the entryway's cleanliness, or assisting with event preparations.
Qualifications:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Friendly and outgoing personality.
- Experience in customer service is preferred but not mandatory.
- Basic computer and reservation software knowledge is a plus.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $15.00 - $23.00 per hour
Expected hours: 15 – 25 per week
