Come down and join the fun at our Lush Hiring Fair! We are looking to hire over 100 new Production Assistants in our Ballistics department alone!

 Our hiring fair will be the ultimate hands-on experience for applicants to see what it’s like “behind the bath bombs” by getting the chance to make your own Lush product inside our beautiful Ballistics department and an in-person interview with our Talent Team.

 HIRING FAIR INFORMATION

 DATES:  Thursday, June 22nd: Time slots available from 9 AM to 7 PM OR  Saturday, July 15th: Time slots available from 9 AM to 5 PM

 (Each time slot will consist of a 15 minute interview and 15–30 minute hands-on experience with making bath bombs.)

 We are hiring for seasonal/temporary contracts starting as early as August 2023 until up to December 2023.

 Job Title: Seasonal Production Assistant

 Hourly Wages: $18.77 (plus applicable PM shift premiums)

 Contract details: Seasonal contracts run until or before December, hourly, full-time with an ability to work mornings, afternoons, overnight shifts, and occasional weekends.

 Shift times are generally: Monday-Friday  (AM) Morning shift: 6:45 am-3:15 pm  (PM) Afternoon shift: 3:30 pm-midnight

 Responsibilities of the Roles:

·       Practice safe work and identify any unsafe situations that may arise to the appropriate individuals

·       Meet and achieve your daily goals consistently

·       Fluid and flexible to continuous improvement changes within the room/department

·       Follow packing and shipping instructions according to department guidelines

·       Keep up with department demands with fluidity and flexibility and the ability to move to other rooms as required

·       Supporting peers with daily duties and responsibilities while ensuring safety and SOP guidelines are being followed

·       Adhere to company and departmental policies and best practices for quality, cleanliness, and health and safety

·       Carry out general housekeeping and equipment cleaning duties as required

·       Encourage and maintain a positive, respectful, and engaging workplace

·       Respect and promote inclusion and diversity in the workplace

·       Represent the ethics and culture of the Lush brand and follow all policies and procedures

·       Safety shoes/boots must be worn at all times on our production/distribution floors

•   Personal face masks/covering are optional

Manufacturing-Specific Responsibilities:

·       Assist in producing high-quality Lush products

·       Perform dexterous tasks including but not limited to: Filling, pouring, and pressing product accurately (either manually or with the use of department-specific machinery)

·       Pack products and correctly label packages

·       Keep up with production demands and productivity targets

·       Perform physically laborious tasks including but not limited to; loading/pulling skids, pushing racks, carrying bins of product

·       Consistently meeting the hourly PPH (Pieces Per Hour) requirements specific to your department

Required:

·       Available to work Full-Time AM or PM Shifts (limited part-time weekend opportunities)

·       Flexibility to work within the Distribution, Digital, and Manufacturing businesses as required

·       Confident with basic mathematics, ability to count, including addition and subtraction

·       Able to do physical work for 8-hour shifts, on your feet, and lift 50 pounds

·       Capable of physical activities such as standing/walking for long durations, bending down, pulling, and pushing

·       Excellent problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills

·       Able to plan, prioritize, and organize multiple tasks

·       Open and adaptable to daily feedback on performance

·       Reliable, consistent attendance, punctual and dependable

·       Competency in English: reading, writing, and speaking

              Preferred:

·       Flexible to work mornings, afternoons, and occasional overtime, holidays, and weekends 

·       Mechanical, equipment, and process knowledge

·       Manufacturing or Distribution experience in cosmetics, pharmaceuticals, supply chain, or food industries

·       Accustomed to working in a seasonal, high-pressure environment

·       Experience with warehouse equipment (picking carts, handheld scanners, pump trucks)
