Pest Care Technician General Job Objectives: Responsible for ensuring that our customers expectations for their pest control are being met or exceeded.
Position Summary: The Pest Technician assists in providing expert pest care services on residential and commercial properties. As a certified technician, you work independently in a company provided vehicle and with proper equipment to treat inside and outside of customer's properties.
Essential Duties & Task: • Applies pesticide application in or around customer’s properties according to state regulations. • Evaluate property on each visit and note any issues or concerns related to pest problems or other issues. • Keep detailed notes about every visit. • Communicate with office about any issues in the field. • Educate customer on best practices, products used, and results by delivering exceptional customer service. • Keep customers up to date on their pest care program. • Safely and properly operate company equipment. Responsible for maintaining company vehicles. • Manage designated route and territory. • Drives all non-CDL vehicles and performs (un)loading of equipment and materials. • Drives company vehicles and operates other assigned equipment. • Ability to work outside in all weather conditions.
Desired Experience: Prefer Tree/Lawn/Pest care industry; however, experience is not required as we provide on the job training and certification. Skills/Abilities: Problem solving, attention to detail, self-motivated, personable, team player.
Requirements: High School graduate or GED; valid driver’s license and a good driving background. Ability to work outside in all weather conditions.
