About the project:
This is part of the Finance Domain product team in the Finance Transformation Office. The team is heavily focused on complex data analysis, data comparison, reconciliation, and SQL optimization to assist with the migration of applications from a legacy tech framework to a modern tech framework.
Organize and lead companywide initiatives to ensure that data quality is maintained so that data can effectively support business processes. Oversee analysis and reporting in support of regulatory requirements. Identify and recommend analysis of data quality or integrity issues. Evaluate data quality metrics and data quality audits to benchmark the state of data quality. Adhere to data governance standards and procedures. Identify new data sources and develop recommendations for assessing the quality of new data. Lead project teams and mentor less experienced staff members. Recommend remediation of process or control gaps that align to management strategy. Serve as relationship manager for a line of business. Consult with and provide recommendations to senior management regarding assessments of the current state of data and metadata quality within area of assigned responsibility. Represent client in cross-functional groups to develop companywide data governance strategies. Partner with groups and various levels of seniority companywide to coordinate and drive collaboration on solution design and remediation execution.
Required Qualifications: 5 years of Data Management, Business Analysis, Analytics, Project Management experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education.

In this role, you will:
Be part of the Finance Data Product team within the Finance Transformation Office (FTO)
Lead complex initiatives related to finance data strategy, application processes, and controls, as well as consulting on business process performance and optimization
Provide advice and technical expertise on complex data/platform migration analysis and research to support management decision-making functions
Engage and lead performance improvement and optimization efforts of high volume/near real-time reporting solutions
Design best practices, train, and provide guidance on performance tuning
Make decisions to maintain effective and efficient reporting delivery that meets brand standards and internal control standards
Lead the implementation of the most complex initiatives impacting multiple lines of business companywide
Meet deliverables and drive new initiatives with a solid understanding of policies, procedures, and compliance requirements
Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, and managers to resolve issues and achieve goals
Required Qualifications:
7 years of Finance experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education.
Advanced SQL Skills, Iceberg (nice to have), Databricks (nice to have)
Data Analysis / Data Engineering Expertise
Automation & Reporting Tools Expertise (nice to have) Alteryx, Power BI, Tableau , ThoughtSpot
Product domain expertise Loans/Traded Products/Deposits/GL
Good communication & presentation skills
