Contract position : Temp to Perm
Location : Houston, TX
Compensation is based on experience
Shift Details : Day Shift – Start Time is 6 : 00 AM. There is an alternating schedule for the shift end times. 2 : 30 PM will be for 1 week, which will include a mandatory 8-HOUR shift on Saturday. The following week will have an end time of 4 : 30 PM with no Saturday shift.
Position Overview :
Read appropriate warehouse documentation to determine items to be moved, gathered, or distributed or shipped.Assist with Shipping and Receiving when neededMove items to appropriate areas.Record amounts of materials or items moved into computer database.Assist in conducting physical inventories and cycle counts.Assist with maintaining inventory records by posting materials received and disbursed, writing shortage lists and distributing them as required.Maintain the warehouse in a clean, orderly and safe manner.Responsible for operating the warehouse machinery in a safe manner and reporting any equipment maintenance or problems to your immediate supervisor.Perform other work-related tasks as assigned.Comply with all Company and HSE policies and proceduresStrong Knowledge of Oracle.Ability to work with heavy equipment.Capability to learn on the job and apply.Ensures availability of material on assembly floor for all capital builds.Performs other work-related tasks as assigned by the Warehouse Manager / SupervisorRequirements :
Fluent in English.Two-years minimum of previous warehouse experience.High school diploma or GEDExperience using office copiers to scan and copy documentation.May use other business systems (ERP / MRP).Uses company software to include Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook.Writes, sends, and receives emails from internal employees and external CustomersMust have forklift, manlift, and reach truck experienceMust have general warehouse knowledge and experience working in a manufacturing environment.Technical Requirements :
