Key Responsibilities:
Provide direct instruction in English language development to elementary English Learners, focusing on listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills.
Design and deliver lessons that align with district standards and WIDA English Language Development (ELD) standards.
Work with classroom teachers to integrate EL students' language goals into general education settings.
Use language acquisition strategies and instructional tools to meet the diverse needs of EL students.
Monitor and document student progress in language proficiency and academic achievement.
Maintain open communication with families, providing updates on student progress and available resources.
Participate in meetings and collaborate with colleagues to ensure students’ language and academic needs are met.
