Internet Sales / BDC Agent (Car Dealership)
Position Summary:
The Internet Sales / Business Development Center (BDC) Agent plays a crucial role in the sales and marketing efforts of the car dealership. This position focuses on engaging with potential customers who express interest online, responding to inquiries, and converting leads into sales opportunities. The primary objective is to provide exceptional customer service, build relationships with prospects, and drive sales through effective communication and sales techniques.
Responsibilities:
Lead Generation and Management:
Respond to incoming leads promptly and professionally through various online channels, including email, website inquiries, and social media platforms.Qualify leads by gathering essential information, such as vehicle preferences, budget, and timeline.Input and maintain accurate customer data and interactions in the dealership's customer relationship management (CRM) system.
Customer Communication:
Initiate outbound communication to potential customers who have shown interest in the dealership's products and services.Establish rapport with prospects, actively listen to their needs, and provide appropriate information about available vehicles and promotions.Answer customer questions regarding vehicle specifications, pricing, financing options, and any other relevant inquiries.
Appointment Scheduling and Follow-up:
Schedule test drives and appointments for potential customers to visit the dealership.Follow up with leads regularly to maintain engagement and keep them informed about new inventory and special offers.Track and analyze lead conversion rates to optimize follow-up strategies.
Sales Process Support:
Collaborate with the sales team to ensure a smooth transition of leads from the BDC to the showroom floor.Assist in facilitating the sales process by providing additional information, documentation, or support as needed.
Customer Service Excellence:
Deliver exceptional customer service by being attentive, respectful, and accommodating to customer needs.Handle customer concerns or complaints professionally and escalate issues to appropriate managers when necessary.
Stay Informed and Trained:
Stay up-to-date with the latest car models, features, promotions, and industry trends to effectively address customer queries and enhance sales skills.Participate in ongoing training programs provided by the dealership to improve product knowledge and sales techniques.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent. Some college education or relevant certifications are a plus.Previous experience in sales, customer service, or a related field is preferred, especially in the automotive industry.Strong verbal and written communication skills.Proficient in using computers and CRM software.Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively.A positive attitude, persuasive demeanor, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences.Basic knowledge of automotive products, financing, and sales techniques.Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, to accommodate customer needs.
The Internet Sales / BDC Agent is an integral part of the car dealership's sales team, responsible for establishing a strong online presence, building customer relationships, and contributing to the overall success of the dealership's sales operations.

Pay: $40,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
