Responsibilities
- Clean and sanitize residents living areas along with public areas within the facility.
- Use chemicals and equipment as directed by manufacturer to ensure safety for staff and residents.
- Restock housekeeping supplies in designated work areas.
- Work independently in a fast pace environment and also work as a team to complete assignments in a timely manner.
- Able to communicate effectively with managers, staff, and residents.
- Required to work weekends and holidays.
Requirements:
- Previous Housekeeping in a Long Term Care facility preferred but not required
- Will provide on the job training
- Must be in good physical health and able to push, pull, twist and bend, and walk or stand for long periods of time
- Must be compassionate and personable
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to prioritize assignments
- Ability to handle emotional and stressful situations in a professional manner
